Step 1: write to me first
If you are unhappy with the therapy or with how I have worked with you, write to me at contact@bodymindpsych.info. Describe what went wrong and what you would like to happen next.
Step 2: we try to resolve it together
I will read your message and reply so we can discuss the concern. Many issues can be cleared up in conversation.
In Israel
I am a specialist medical psychologist registered with the Israel Ministry of Health (reg. no. 27-135882). If we cannot resolve the concern together, you may use the Ministry of Health route and the psychologists' professional ethics procedures that apply in Israel.
In the Netherlands (NIP)
I am a Psycholoog NIP (membership no. 248744). NIP membership is a professional association. It is not a Dutch statutory healthcare registration (BIG register). Sessions are not reimbursed under Dutch basic health insurance (basisverzekering).
The Israeli psychologist licence is a different system. It is not a Dutch BIG registration.
Netherlands: independent NIP route (College van Toezicht)
If we still cannot resolve it, you can use the NIP tuchtrecht route for clients of NIP members. Complaints are assessed against the NIP Beroepscode (professional code) by the independent College van Toezicht of the Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen (NIP).

This is not the BIG-register disciplinary board (tuchtcollege gezondheidszorg). I am not BIG-registered, so that board does not apply here.
Netherlands: appeal (College van Beroep)
After the College van Toezicht has given its decision, you or I may appeal to the independent College van Beroep of the NIP. The NIP sets a two-month window from the date that decision is sent. The same NIP page above explains this step.
