Conformance
This website aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and to the accessibility requirements for websites under the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities regulations (IS 5568).
For visitors in the Netherlands and elsewhere in the EU, WCAG Level AA is also the practical web benchmark reflected in the European harmonised standard EN 301 549 under the European Accessibility Act (EAA), as implemented in Dutch law (Implementatiewet toegankelijkheidsvoorschriften producten en diensten). EN 301 549 currently maps to WCAG 2.1 AA; aiming for WCAG 2.2 AA keeps the site aligned with that path. This statement describes measures and intent - it is not a claim of complete audited conformity with the EAA or EN 301 549.
What has been done
The site is built with semantic HTML and landmark regions, and every page has a single main heading with a correct heading order. All functionality works with a keyboard alone, focus is always visible, and a skip link is the first element on every page.
Every colour pairing used for text and interface elements has been measured against the WCAG contrast thresholds. Colour is never the only way information is conveyed. Primary actions use a 48-pixel minimum target. Compact header and menu controls use at least 44 by 44 pixels, which meets WCAG 2.2 Success Criterion 2.5.8 (target size minimum).
The site works at 200% zoom and down to a 320-pixel-wide screen. It respects your operating system's reduced-motion and increased-contrast preferences, and offers a light and a dark theme. Accessibility is built into the pages themselves rather than added through a third-party overlay widget.
Both the Hebrew and the English versions carry correct language and direction attributes, and all interface text - including labels announced only to screen readers - is provided in the language of the page.
Known limitations
The site has been tested with keyboard navigation and automated checks. Testing with every combination of screen reader and browser is ongoing, and there may be issues that have not yet been found.
